We arrived here mid afternoon after calling at Kisima Farm near Nanyuki, to meet the owner, one of the sponsors of the Blind Unit at Isiolo. We were accompanied by Rueben the retired blind teacher who had started the blind unit with their support. |

4th May Rendille
Nancy and team returned from a weekend visit to the Rendille North West of Laisamis where they shared fellowship. Food was delivered to the three Nursery Schools, support for teachers, cooks and helpers was paid and the handpump installed in February was serviced. It has proved its worth in the last few months with other wells at the riverside filled with sand and gravel from seasonal rains. |

1st May 2008 Hair Lip Operation
One of the children on our programme at Archers Post suffering from a hair lip was successfully operated on at Meru Hospital on 21st April. Thank you to his sponsor and please pray for a clean healing of the wound.

The second week of Holiday Bible Club has seen a bumper attendance and an excitement at Ngarenmara. Sixty young people have come to stay over for the week and on the first day 80 have been in attendance from those living within walking distance. We will report further at the end of the week. Continue to pray for the Holy Spirit to do his work. |

Holiday Bible Clubs w/c 14 & 21 April 2008
At Ngaremara plans are complete to run two clubs one for Primary and the other for Secondary School young people home on leave from boarding departments. Arrangements are being made to accomodate some of the children from the blind and deaf units and children from the orphans home in Isiolo. |

Ngaremara 8th April
Spoke this am to Stephen Cowan and then Nancy. Wamba the brick making machine is in full swing with production up to 2,000 bricks per day. We hope to make 25,000 bricks so will be finished in 2 weeks. There is a lot of interest in the machine in Wamba. |

Sat 22nd March 2008 Wamba:
Tonight we spoke to Nancy. She has spent most of the week in Wamba where the children's home building project has kicked off, organising accomodation, working with the Chief to set up the infrastructure for the builders and dealing with a number of teething problems. She was very upbeat in her assessment. |

This week we have been adjusting to the cold and enjoying the lengthening days. We have developed 250 photos and by Friday had associated approximately half the photos of sponsored children with their reports and begun to make a list of the few that we have missed. Five sponsor reports and photos have been sent out to first time sponsors. |

Thur 13th March Nairobi
The weekend had been one of preparation for our departure. Going through the details of each of our locations, working out budgets and visit arrangements and dealing with all the little things that would require financing for the next two months. I sat up late two nights completing spreadsheets on the computer and bringing them into line with our new accounting arrangements. |
