The 48 bed children's home building programme at Wamba continues with walls now complete and roofing to start next week. Costs as everywhere continue to rise steeply and every effort is being made to contain these within the budget of 3m ks. Glory our first orphan referred...

 by the Government continues to bring joy to all she meets.  As can be clearly seen from the photograph she is strong and healthy and a favourite with everyone. She has thrived during her first year with us since she arrived at approximately 5 months old in May last year. A very big thank you to Lillian for the care she has taken of her.  

Nancy has been asked by the Chief at Wamba if we would take a  two week old  boy who's twin and mother died at childbirth. He is currently still in hospital.

Visitors to the programmes during the latter part of June and July will include Maureen, Linda and George as well as Pamela and Ken who continue until mid Sept.
