Welcome to Kindfund

Kindfund is a charity established to further the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help relieve poverty in the ‘Third World’. Accepted as a charity by H M RC Ref. No.XR72718 and as a Society in Kenya No. 26316

Kindfund is helping some of the poorest tribes in N Kenya working with the pastoralist Turkana, Samburu and Rendille. We currently use 4 tonnes of food supplies per month. 100% of gifts go to Kenya


Children's Homes

Two of our summer 2009 team, Margaret and Nuala enjoying the children.

There are now 34 children in the home at Wamba including 5 babies. Pray for Nzau and Esther now managing the home. Additionally at Wamba Kindfund continues to provide a main meal every day for 40 poor children. We have 20 children in the new home at Ngaremara where we also support another 40 with a meal a day. Remember Dominic, Ruth, Joyce and Locham managing there. February 2010 we have started 34 Rendille orphans on our meal a day programme, have been allocated a site by local elders and have begun preparations to build our 3rd Children's Home near Laisamis  We also support with food and in other ways Kilimani Home with 74 children and Kambi Juu Blind Home with 20 children.

Support orphans - let your clothes tell a story

Clive Wisbey has kindly designed a range of Kindfund tops, t-shirts (ladies fit and unisex), polo shirts, fleeces (men’s hoody, ladies zip hoody and pullover hoody), and rugby shirts.

The clothing is of good quality from Fruit of the Loom up to designer level. A wide range of colours are available.

Prices range from £12 for children up to £33 for adult depending on design etc.

A limited stock is available at Kesh but orders can be met within 4 weeks.

Prayer Requests

Continue to pray for Sube in Wamba hospital since 15th June now 28th July. She continues to get infections and her leg muscle is affected. Also remember Sophia whose eyesight is deteriorating as a result of infections.

Ken Pamela Linda and Sharon visited our Rendille orphan feeding base and future children's home in mid July. All is going well. Continue in prayer for Raphael and Lucy as they lead this work

Give thanks for those who have already visited projects in June and July and pray for those still to travel to visit;  Kim, Duane and Matthew and  Pamela and Ken as they move around Kenya.

Pray for capital developments at Ngaremara and resolution of site issues with the Govt and Council.

Pray for145 children at the homes, Ngaremara, Wamba, Kilimani and Kambi Juu Also for all 200 children on meal a day programmes. Pray for the 'Team' as they face the daily challenges of the work. Also for the bible material on route from UK.

Pray for the roots of Kindfund in UK and Ireland that they will grow. Give thanks for new roots.

Pray for clarity of vision and knowledge of God's will to develop all the work now involving c.1500 children
